2. Information we may collect from you
2.1 Telnames collects personal information from users of the Service through the use of on-line forms, where you register as a user of the Serviceand every time you e-mail or otherwise submit your details or your own content to us. We may also ask you to provide personal information if you report a problem with our Service or any of the Delivered Services.
2.2 Telnames may collect information about you when you use the Service:
2.2.1 your full name, postal and email address and telephone and fax number (and/or those of any nominated contact you provide to us in relation to your use of any of the Services) and any additional personal information we require or you upload in connection with the provision to you of any of the Delivered Services;
2.2.2 your billing and payment details (such as your credit card details) when you request a Delivered Service;
2.2.3 a record of any correspondence that you have with us;
2.2.4 records relating to your account with us, including dates and amounts of all payments and refunds; and/or
2.2.5 details of your visits to our Service and the resources that you access. We may also collect aggregated statistical data about Service users in general and browsing actions and patterns.
2.3 We will also collect personal information from you when you receive or enquire about a Delivered Service and maintain records relating to any domain name application received by us, as well as any domain name registered through, administered, or renewed by us. We need this also for billing and marketing purposes. We also maintain records relating to any other service(s) that we provide to you. These records may include, but are not limited to, the information required by the registrar of any domain name registered by you using the Service such as:
2.3.1 the original creation date of a domain name registration, renewal, or request for a Delivered Service;
2.3.2 the submission date and time of a registration or renewal application, or request for a Delivered Service to us and by us to the proper domain registry;
2.3.3 communications (whether in electronic or paper form) constituting submissions, forwarding, modifications, or terminations of a Delivered Service and related correspondence between you and us;
2.3.4 the expiration date of a domain name registration; and/or
2.3.5 information regarding all other activity between you and us in relation to your use of a Delivered Service.
2.4 You may be able to use domain name registration, .tel page and/or other Delivered Services made available to you via the Service to upload your own content, communication or material in accordance with the Terms of Sale. To the extent that such content, communication or material contains the personal information of or relating to any third party, you must have his or her consent (where required by law) prior to uploading such content.
2.5 Although you must provide us with some personal information in order to receive any of our Delivered Services, you may use the Service without registering. However, if you choose not to register you may not be able to use the Service to its fullest extent.
3. IP addresses and cookies
3.2 We use session cookies on the Telnames website to identify you when you visit the Service, to keep track of your browsing patterns and to build up a demographic profile. The data we collect from session cookies also helps us to improve our Service and to make it more personalised. Session cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser.

We offer this functionality to enable you to generate interest among the members of your social network(s) in the Delivered Services, including, without limitation, any domain name and .tel pages, that you are receiving from us.
